Niko and his partner were not only great hosts, they became great friends - sending us off to our events, closing up and locking the doors when we left, greeting us when we returned to ensure everyone got home safe and even hiring 24 hour security for the property. When we moved to the bar, snacks and a fully stocked bar and many waters were always available for us. Never before did I believe this class of service existed. Truly truly exceptional.

We were here for 5 nights as a close group of 10 friends and every person on the trip commented to me how special the villa and the hosts were. Unreal as that never happens - people might mention the location but never the location and how special the hosts were. Hilde made us the most amazing breakfast each morning - we had two people who were gluten free and she even went out of her way to make them gluten free pancakes. The first night we arrived quite late and so we asked if we could have dinner at the house. Hilde made us the most amazing dinner - it was honestly one of the best dinners we had on the island. She also helped us with restaurant reservations and car transfers.

It started before we even arrived! We had some issues with our private plane coming into mykonos because of slot time issues and they went to the airport to try and talk to people they knew to get us approved. They went out of their way to do this and it meant a lot even though we went to athens then helicopter to Mykonos anyways. When we arrived by helicopter Niko was there to meet us with such great energy and drive us to the villa. He made us feel at home and like family from the moment we got there. The first evening they had an incredible feast set up of fresh fish, veggies, and risotto all made by the amazing hilde and their staff. At dinner We told them our plans for the week and Niko even offered to show us around the historically important island of Delos where we saw so much Greek History and ruins from 2000+ years ago. He made us feel apart of the culture and had such great stories on everything that he showed us. Most owners/hosts i feel would never offer this to the guests and he personally took the day to show us around. Even though our other friends came later in trip, when they arrived they were also blown away by the hospitality. Everybody was extremely happy to be there. There is a panoramic view from the pool and outdoor area that is absolutely breathtaking. Every room was very clean and had gorgeous views of the sea.

Prior to our arrival, Hilde arranged a What’s app group chat so we could order food, wine and snacks prior to our arrival. The communication was so easy and very prompt. Our flights were late but the transportation they arranged waited for us for several hours. Niko and Hilde arranged transportation daily for and extra charge paid directly to the drivers.

When we arrived at the Villa we had Prosecco and delicious snacks waiting for us as well as welcoming hosts greeting us with love and care.

Security was on guard 24/7. We could come and go as we pleased without having to worry about keys as our host would let us in and greet us daily no matter what time of day or night we arrived.

For my husband‘s birthday, Hilde helped me arrange a private chef to come to the house to make a surf and turf dinner. It was absolutely fabulous as we overlooked the sea during sunset. They also helped me arrange a boat for the day for and amazing day on the water.

Hilde would ask us every evening when we would like breakfast the next morning. We were out a couple of nights pretty late so she would adjust the schedule according to our plans. The breakfast that she served in the morning was fabulous! We had juice, coffee, eggs, Spinach pie and Nutella croissants just to name a few items. There was so much food that we could never finish.

My husband and I host and have stayed at many Airbnbs, but Niko and Hilde, step up the Airbnb game with their love and hospitality. The Villa is absolutely gorgeous but the hospitality was above and beyond any expectations! We left considering Niko and Hilde our bonus extended family in Mykonos.

Before we even arrived, their quick responses to questions and offer to help in any and every way were so much appreciated. Their ideas, advice and expertise were spot on!

When we finally met in person we were greeted like family, welcoming us with open arms and big smiles. Our group of 12, four families with teenage kids, all were in utter shock and astonishment at the incredible views as we walked in the home. The photos on the site do not compare to the breathtaking views from this spectacular spot on Mykonos. Every part of the home was decorated with love and is chic and stylish. The outside area invites you to want to stay and relax, have a cold drink at the bar and just chill! The pool area is gorgeous with floating cushions and plenty of places to catch the rays and the grounds and garden are impeccable with growing lemons, figs, fresh mint and colorful flowers.

On the inside, every room has a boho feel and not overstated but still includes the best amenities, most comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms.

Every morning we were treated by the “breakfast fairy”, Hilde, with all of our favorite items including special coffee orders! Plenty for everyone, with lots of options for our somewhat picky group including eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, delicious chocolate filled croissants and more. She also cooked a dinner and lunch with the most beautiful natural ingredients, checking the local stores for the best produce and items she could find.

During our stay, they helped arrange transportation to local beaches, into town (just a short 10 minute drive) or to the local airport, also so close! All of our needs were met without hesitation.

Our last night Hilde prepared a beautiful meal (one of my favorites of the entire trip) and we toasted our hosts again for their constant warm hospitality, positive demeanor and local tips. In fact, they both know the island in and out, and since Niko shared some of his favorite things, great stories and life philosophies we renamed the island “Nikonos”.

We hope to return and would HIGHLY recommend this incredible destination to any group. Not just for the view alone (although that would be enough), but for the wonderful people that own this magical home. Thank you Nikolaos and Hilde for becoming like family to us!

From the very moment that we met our... read more hosts Nikolaos and Hilde and their ever smiling staff Hasan and Halliemae, we knew that we were right where we needed to be. In our minds, we knew that we would be meeting new people at this mesmerizing and mystical property, but our hearts told us that we were merely returning home to friends. The property was immaculate with exotic, verdant garden areas contrasted by a myriad of blues from the Aegean Sea and Grecian blue sky.

Our arrival was met with friendly faces, a robust spread of beautiful and tasty foods and endless views. Prior to our arrival Nikolaos and Hilde were able to shop and secure our favorite beverages and comfort products. In addition, they seamlessly and effortlessly were able to arrange a last minute request to have a couple of highly skilled masseuses fly in from Athens to help work out the kinks and knots acquired during our travels. As our relaxed bodies were settling in, our noisy minds quieted and cleared and the libations began to take effect, all of us friends laid back, smiled from ear to ear and sighed with satisfaction.

Everybody embarks on vacations with expectations and all of our expectations of this vacation were truly fulfilled and or surpassed. Our hosts/friends Nikolaos and Hilde could be compared to Mr. Roarke and Tattoo in the Fantasy Island TV show where each and every whim, wish and desire one could possibly conjure up will likely be fulfilled. Nicholas and Hilde were gracious hosts and attentive to our needs. As promised, they met us at the ferry port and drove us to their most spectacular villa. The views from the outside can not be put into words and extended well beyond 180 degrees.

Together with their staff, they catered breakfast each morning and hosted two incredible outdoor dining experiences. They dined with us and were available to assist us throughout our stay. They shopped for us, made local suggestions, and were attended to our every need. We enjoyed their facility and their company.

We were a group of 12 from all over the world and everyone was fascinated and pleased with the place. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset from one spot is a magical experience. It must be one of the most beautiful Vila’s in Mykonos.

  It's hard to know where to start with this review as there was so much that was beyond exceptional during our week at Aegean Blue.

To begin with... read more the property itself, it is not the usual luxury rental. There are so many beautiful little details, pieces of furniture, art and personal touches that make it feel like a home away from home. Great thought has been put into the comfort of the guests, such as shower gel; bathrobes; a fridge full of gorgeous local food... the host,Nikos,goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Linens are crisp, beds are comfortable and the dining areas, BBQ and bar have everything you need to entertain at the villa.

The thing that will literally take your breath away, however, is the view! It's almost like the view from a luxury yacht. All you see in every direction is sea, horizon and so many beautiful Cycladic islands. Add to that a beautiful pool and gardens that have been carefully and painstakingly tended to, and it feels like you have found a small piece of paradise. We were so in love with this beautiful place that we decided to have our wedding reception here. Seeing our guests' reaction to their surroundings was priceless!!

Now for the hospitality. Nikos truly made us feel more like family than guests. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always on-hand to offer his assistance if you needed it. He stayed in a small apartment underneath the main villa. It is completely out of view, but he's there should you need. He and his partner, Hilde, offered us great assistance throughout the wedding, both the lead up to it and on the day itself. We felt incredibly looked after. We connected so well with them over the past year, through our dialogue, that we invited them to the wedding, which we fear they helped more than enjoyed it.

In addition to Nikos you are in the extremely kind & capable hands of his live in property team, husband & wife Hassan & Halliemae. Hassan looks after the grounds & cooked us the most amazing welcome BBQ. And Halliemae not only looked after all the cleaning, but was a constant ray of sunshine, always smiling and happy to help. They are both such warm, beautiful, hard-working people ensuring that your stay is both a pleasant and comfortable one.

All in all, this place and the people who have built it and cared for it over the years are magic! We have travelled extensively, but no view has compared with those of Aegean Blue. As for the service during our stay, we couldn't have been more pleased! Nicholas (host/owner of the property) picked up our entire group from the airport and was very friendly and informative. He even did the grocery shopping for us prior to our arrival! He was very good with communication anytime we needed assistance or advice. There was also a daily maid service that went above and beyond. Not only did she make our beds and tidy up the bedrooms but she also helped with cleaning the dishes and common areas of the villa!

The interior spaces are very nice with a functional kitchen, interior living spaces and very nice bedrooms with en suite baths in each. We had 10 people at the property and all were perfectly comfortable. The highlight is the exterior spaces with a fantastic outdoor bar, barbeque, living space off the pool, another dining area off the kitchen and an amazing pool area. The exterior spaces are such a dream that it was hard to leave. Of course the views of the surrounding islands are amazing and the sunset/sunrises are world class.
Finally, Nicholas was a dream to work with. His pre-trip communication was fantastic. He answered every question that we had promptly and with an eye towards creating a positive experience. We arranged to have food and beverages at the property when we arrived and the Champagne corks flying in to the pool were a great way to start our week long adventure.
Can't wait to return and enjoy another amazing time at an amazing property.

We chose 180 Aegean Blue villa because of the incredible reviews we read: "It exceeded our expectations" "The pictures do not give it justice" "The facility was magnificent with breath-taking views". We concur.

Nicholas and Hilde were gracious hosts and attentive to our needs. As promised, they met us at the ferry port and drove us to their most spectacular villa. The views from the outside can not be put into words and extended well beyond 180 degrees.

Together with their staff, they catered breakfast each morning and hosted two incredible outdoor dining experiences. They dined with us and were available to assist us throughout our stay. They shopped for us, made local suggestions, and were attended to our every need. We enjoyed their facility and their company.

As impressive as this villa is, the rooms sparkled, the service of staff was exceptional and the pool facility was beyond magical. Our only regret is that we are not still there. But the memories will be with us for a lifetime.

We were a group of 12 from all over the world and everyone was fascinated and pleased with the place. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset from one spot is a magical experience. It must be one of the most beautiful Vila’s in Mykonos.
